Job Description:

The Air Ramp Clerk supports the Aircraft Load Planning, Fueling, and De-ice group processes. He/She ensures daily planning and safety awareness. The Air Ramp Specialist provides procedural and safety education to department members.

Air Operations Clerk / Ramp Assistant

This position monitors inbound and outbound flight operations. He/She communicates with Contingency, Aircraft Routing, Hub, OPC Load Planning, Staff personnel, etc. and makes adjustments to aircraft parking and/or tail assignments, communicating changes promptly to appropriate parties and areas .

your typical day is split 50/50

50 % office working on internal Air Operations systems

50% outside on the Ramp overseeing Inbound and outbound Aircrafts

Working hours are 2am to 10am Monday to Friday .

Responsibilities include

  • Answers and addresses the HELP Line.
  • Codes departure delays and arranges for small feeder aircraft if needed.
  • Prepares reports for Staff-level managers.
  • Monitors weather and announces operational bans when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent
  • Must be familiar with ramp parking and all aircraft types
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Full clean Irish driving license

Employment is subject to s Full 5 year back ground & CRC being completed
